In other news, some nice projects are in the pipeline for 2025. January sees Tori featuring with pianist Rick Simpson in his quintet and new large ensemble. In Feb, the trio returns including a gig at the Vortex on Tori’s birthday and also the Brazilian Choro project with Huw Warren will perform at the Dora Stoutzker Hall at the RWCMD, Cardiff collaborating with the outstanding Italian vocalist Maria Pia de Vito. Future gigs include more with the Nikki Iles Jazz Orchestra, performances with the duo in Germany and Austria including at Steinway House in Frankfurt and continued work with large ensembles such as the Ivo Neame Dectet and the London Jazz Orchestra.
