July has been an inspiring month.  The Hermeto Pascoal gig at the Barbican with the UK All Star Big Band, then the Llandudno Jazz Festival which was a real success and it was a treat to play with Jim Hart on our quartet debut featuring the music of Joe Henderson.  The trio had a great album launch at the 606 and some lovely gigs including Marlborough jazz Festvial and one at E17 Jazz with the amazing Jason Rebello, and we're looking forward to touring the UK and a few more London dates from September onwards.   

The Manchester Jazz Festival was also a great even as always, and the 'Solstice' gig had a great review in London Jazz.   Tori will be back in Manchester on 13 Aug at St Ann's Church with the Tori Freestone/Alcyona Mick duo after the success of their gig at the same venue during the festival last year.  It's extremely probable that another trip to the 'Chophouse' will be on the cards :-)
